After a follow up appointment and some TLC from your Midwife? This appointment is from birth to 6 weeks and ensures you and your baby are thriving post birth.

During this appointment your midwife will:

• • Assess you including blood pressure, wound assessment, observations etc
  • Check your baby including a head-to-toe assessment and weight
  • Check breastfeeding (if opting to breastfeed)
    *please note if a specific breastfeeding consultation is required please book a Lactation
    Consultation appointment
  • Prescribe medications if required
  • Complete any referrals if required
  • Request bloods and ultrasounds if required
